I can’t believe it’s time for another fantastic issue of One Thimble Sewing E-Zine. If you’ve been a long-time reader of Lily Shine Creates, you will have followed our sewing adventures with some really incredible One Thimble patterns over the last several years. Issue 20 is jam packed with adorable summer sewing patterns, informative and useful articles for small business or home sewers, and of course lots of great coupon codes and deals for those featured pattern shops and sewing companies!

This issue came just in time for our end of summer fun on the lake. I couldn’t resist sewing up the Miss Camille Kaftan for myself. Let’s check out what I made:

The Miss Camille Kaftan is a great beginner pattern, has printable layer option and is for sizes 2-16 US/ 6-20 AU.

The tutorial has great tips and sewing instructions with illustrated drawings for each step. The pattern is super fast and sews up easily; the hem takes the longest to press and sew!

I sewed up my Miss Camille Kaftan using this gorgeous tie dye rayon from Joann Fabrics. The rayon print has the perfect drape and light body for a flowy, beach look!
