Hey all!!! If you’ve been following my blog for quite some time (did you notice the name change?!?!), you know by now that I have insane love and adoration of Jen and the One Thimble sewing ezine. Check out this issue’s contributors:
Issue 14 has just released and I’m thrilled to share one of the exciting new patterns included in the ezine.
Meet the Loli Dress, pattern designed by Bobkin Designs. It is sweet, delicate and brings full summer vibes! Written for sizes 2-10, the pattern includes a measurement chart to help you select the perfect size.
Let’s talk about the amazing options included in the Loli Dress pattern
1) Dress or Top length
2) Button back closure or Elastic back
3) Cross over ties or Straight ties
4) Spaghetti Straps or Bias straps
5) Enclosed bodice or Topstitched bodice
I just *had* to play with the Painted Desert Night print. Seriously- it’s SoCal embraced in jewel tones. The “painted” florals make my heart melt. Ahhhhhh.
My daughter, obviously, loves flowers and flowy dresses so the Loli Dress in Sage fabrics was a winning combination for sure! Her expression when she realized she dropped the flowers on the ground. Too funny.
I loved sewing up this really confident-beginner friendly dress. The illustrated tutorial is concise yet contains helpful notes to make this dress with the desired options. I did add some length to the dress to give her a little bit of growing room throughout spring and summer. I know another growth spurt is on it’s way and with this beauty I wanted to max out the wearability!
I look forward to seeing what the other amazing makers sewed up from One Thimble Issue 14. Be sure to check in on each stop of the blog tour, hosted by Pattern Revolution.
